Artist's Comments
A tribal design I have spent a particularly long amount of time on. The color scheme is reminiscent of soft firelight because I was going for a less viscous look at a tribal design; self contained within a sphere, it represents a sort of completeness. I wanted to make a tribal design that seemed whole instead of ever expanding or crawling. This orb is concept art for a tribal healing artifact, The Phoenix egg.
